Buying and selling of products is not the only motto of the garage sale. It brings people with more exposure. Like minded people are not expected during the garage sale. The thought and preference varies. As like minded people have not found even in a same family, expected that among public brings nothing and that will happen only as an illusion.  This is applicable for both buyers and sellers. All the sellers need not be same, some are struck and some are flexible depending on the situation, their character and present situation. As the seller is a single person, no problem arises to him. But buyers are many, so a seller need to face problems with the different buyers to make his sales success and profitable. Managing with such people will not come naturally, either you should be experienced or got some awareness elsewhere. Dominator: this kind person is seen everywhere. Such person will be the deciding authority wherever he is. But what does he do with his dominance in a garage sale? If you meet with such a person just be as rigid as possible.
Need based: all customers are expected to come with to do list. There are few customers who wait a whole year expecting garage sale to purchase some products. The seller gets more benefits from such customers. But if are disappointed with the quality or if they are not found with the products in wish list. Sellers will lose high profitable buyers. So implement garage sale with care.

types of buyers:

Analyzers: they are very dangerous persons. So be aware of them. They analyze each and every product from the quality to price. Even minor mistakes will be projected by them. Such people will not buy the products instantly. If they are not satisfied they won’t let other also to buy. So if you found such persons in your place, concentrate more on him and divert him.
Window shoppers: there are few people who don’t have any target and comes to pass their time. They will not come with an intention to buy. So sellers can ignore them and concentrate on other customers. So, how to find such persons? Once a customer entered the sellers will post the question “what you want”, if they deliver irrelevant answer they are people who came to spend leisure time. They may buy a product, if they found it worth.
Professionals: sellers in garage sale are not the professional sellers, but you may expect some professionals to your shop. Your strategy of attraction won’t work well with them. So don’t attempt to do it. Let them go on their way, as they go.
Compliant box: there are people who openly complain about the defect in order to get the costs reduced. Develop skills to manage that in front of public. Be loud while managing with him.
